Just saw a 06 S on the Mecum auction,1st time I’ve seen one on a t.v. auction. They didn’t mention the mileage it looked clean and original. It didn’t sell it got bid to 34.5 but didn’t meet reserve. Silver with red interior.

My nephew just emailed me about this one, saying he was surprised the bid was so low.

It's got a ripped seat, fairly massive at that. Bids usually don't get interesting until the last few minutes on BaT. The tear in the seat is going to affect the price though.

Edit: Actually both seats have rips/tears in them. New OEM seat leather is going to run close to $1k a seat, plus having to find it.

This is also the worst time of year to sell a car.

But one of the best for buying. I bought my S2000 in January 2001 at a dealer an hour away (local dealer wanted to over charge me) and had it flat bedded to my house. I've bought several used cars in January as well.

I bought my 911 in January, definitely was the right time based on what I paid.
