knock off that leading digit and I could be interested.
for the $8k delta I'd buy this one first. https://denver.craigslist.org/cto/7556311763.html
not a fan of toyota engines in general but pushing that amount of weight ... it's almost like free revving it.
the only weak link is actually the remaining original gearbox.
I probably would have swapped in the entire Fuego box instead of just the pressure plate.

Definitely a car you want to buy already done.
Interesting bit of trivia my friends is a Europe not a Europa. It's a series 1 and his was from Germany. VW owned the rights to the name Europa in Germany so cars for sale in Germany were badged Europe instead of Europa.

Going down rabbit holes on the internet, I came across this website. There is a section on automotive/transportation memorabilia. At the bottom of the page is the single click forward button for unlimited stuff.

2023 Corvette Z06. Damn, this the first Vette since my '63 that would really light my fire! The video is nearly half-an-hour but certainly worth the time.
I see parts of it were filmed at the Pittsburgh International Race Complex where myself and many of you all showed up to play racers with our S2000s in 2005 when it was called Beaver Run track.

I know it is not quite automotive, but I just came across these pictures from an Airbus 330 I was flying as one of the tires/wheels was being replaced. There are 10 tires pumped up to 300psi with nitrogen.
I just replaced the S's front rotors and pads. I was glad the job was not as big as the one required for this one!!!

Makes the inboard brakes on an E-type look like a cake walk!

Looks like the clutch stack on my Vespa!

I'd love to see the inside of the wheel. does it interlock with the tabs coming out of the rotor stack?

It does but not tightly. When the wheel is installed, There is a large axle nut that is pretty cool from an engineering standpoint and that is torqued, released, torqued to spec, released again, torqued again, released again, torqued again. This all occurs with a partial tire rotation between torques. The torque wrench is the most manly torque wrench I have ever seen. A work of art, massive and accurate. I don't recall the limits but every time it was torqued, the mechanics referenced the instructions.
