I have zero interest in million dollar cars. If I must spend that much, I'd prefer ten 100k cars.

Yeah, I've been watching. Not a fan of the RD character, the others seem alright though.

knock off that leading digit and I could be interested.

for the $8k delta I'd buy this one first. https://denver.craigslist.org/cto/7556311763.html
not a fan of toyota engines in general but pushing that amount of weight ... it's almost like free revving it.
the only weak link is actually the remaining original gearbox.
I probably would have swapped in the entire Fuego box instead of just the pressure plate.

Eight thousand difference is nuts. I’d take the nice one anyway.

It sounds more serious than what I initially expected. Bad luck that there was a spark just as the fuel sprayed on him.

I suspected it wasn't good. Very few flash burns are.. I had a friend pour gasoline on a pile of wood to start a fire. Next thing he knew he didn't have any eyebrows. Damn lucky he still had a face.

Just watched the video with the article. What a shame a car he really loved would bite him in the ass!

Burns are such a painful injury. There is a woman at the y who had severe burns due to a gasoline fire. She is very very scarred from grafting on her face arms upper body . She helps counsel other burn victims. I think she is quite brave. What an ordeal she's been through

What kind of car? Where did the gas come from? I haven’t seen any details.
