It blows my mind, Dave, that you don't come to the Zippo Historic Races at Watkins Glen in September. I just sent in my registration for Sept 2010
It could happen. Jerry, I agree it's a great event. Use to go every year but I haven't been back since 2004. That's when I lost my friend - my MGA of 32 years on return trip home. If I did come it would be in my new MGA and not the S2000. I am planning on installing cruise control on this MG this winter and hopefully sorting out the last of the little problems with this year's make over (new engine, brakes, etc.). Last but not least I need to see how my new hip works on long trips in either of my sports cars. More than you needed to know.......................

And by-the-way I personally know the family in #7 above; can you say that.

Hey Dave, when people ask "what are you doing with all this old MG stuff?" just say, "It could be worse."

I always wondered how Fangio could drive a race car with all of the extra girth. He didn't really look like an athlete.

I remember the names from books I checked out of the library.

Didn't Ferrari get his start as a team manager or some such for Alfa?

Stop the video at the 1:00 minute mark and look at the camber on the left front wheel.

There's a couple nuts like that in our club. One of them just moved up north after retiring and tried to unload a lot of his treasures, cheap and sometimes for free and still ended up taking a LOT to the junkyard.

Early on I discovered if you can find one fairly decent non-running but good "donor" car for backup/hard-to-get/no-longer-available parts - that's all you need. Having half a dozen of them just takes up space and drives neighbors nuts.

Jerry, I know almost every picture you've posted - if not by name, at least by face or by car. What do I win?
