Default Added another one to the stable

My newest toy.

I've never owned a truck before. My wife says I'll need to buy a rifle rack and learn how to spit a long distance! It's a 1997 Ford F-150 with a 4.6-liter V8 with 390 pounds of torque. Just the thing with gas approaching $4.00 a gallon. It's been a long time since I've owned a V8 and I have to admit it's no problem burning up some rubber. It's totally rust free (very unusual for MI) as it's spent most of it's life in a garage and has never been driven in the winter. It only has 55,500 miles (average of 3,000/year) and it was a one-owner truck. Too good to pass up. Besides, it's green and St. Patrick's day is Monday!

It kinda rounds out the stable - an old sports car, a new sports car, a station wagon, a luxury car, and a truck. My grandson thinks I have problem! I told him I agree. I said I only have one boat.

Jerry, you should talk to the guy I bought it from.... he's 75 and still has his first nickel. You guys think alike. He told me he's just now thinking of staying in motels.

I suggested he should make friends with people like Patricia!

Nope. Just cloth with pine tree stains..... at least that's what he said they were.

Good night Jerry. Me too. I have an MGA engine to tear down tomorrow for the machine shop.

I think you need to hang curtains in the windows, Dave. That will complete the look.

It's a nice color! I didn't think FORD ever made a truck in a nice color. My ex has bought them for years.
