Well, wait for SF '07, Val...right up the road. If you are still up for it.

May? Early November?

I'd hate for it to look like we're messing with Fall Colors, but let's try for early October.
I'd also propose that we start the event with a dinner and a night at the Salt Fork Lodge (unless you feel your new place would still work).
It would be a shame to drop this one.

I owe an apology to Carmen. A couple of weeks back when I suggested the third weekend of May (the weekend before Memorial Day weekend) he suggested that I start a poll. It slipped my mind to do so.
But, I will "tee up" the third weekend of May? As I mentioned to him. A lot of people are chomping at the bit to go for a drive. Rocket reports that RT 26 did "survive the winter".
This year FCT06 is back to a traditional Fall Colors over the weekend with the colors of NH in October it should be spectacular (if the weather cooperates). The track days are going to be on Monday & Tuesday so it should have something for everyone. Then, the other potential issue is the LG06 run if there is to be one?
I will start a poll.

Late May would probably work for us but it would be cutting it close. We'll be headed back form the beach in mid-May. However, we did the same thing last year and it seemed to work out fine.
No apology needed Matt.

Carm, Jonas and everyone,
I love the Buckeye meet, I love Route 26 and I really love the comradarie and warmth that you guys have created for this event, but this might be the year to skip it.
The Spring Fling is in June, The NorEaster is in August, and Fall Colors is in October. Aside from that, many of us participate in one or two local events. That really doesn't leave too much time for another meet. And unfortunately I think that if there are too many, they all start to lose their attraction.
We've done the Buckeye two years in a row, maybe it should be skipped for 2006 and brought back in 2007.

Nothing says that Carmen, Sam & I can't plan it, and whoever wants, can join us anyway!
