2005 Vintage Buckeye Run

OMG!!!! I just got home and am unpacking from this trip and getting packed for the one tomorrow morning. I do not think I have ever enjoyed a meet as much in my entire S2k career!!! I'm reluctant to post anyone's name in the fear I'll leave someone out, so GROUP HUGGGGGGS and a million thanks to the Ohio Boys and Girls for hosting us and a million thanks to everyone who came. If I die today, I'll die a happy lass. WONDERFUL!!! And a great big (3 yr old) squeal to our wonderful mystery guest. I bow to you, tip my hat to you, and thank you for coming. Bert and Sheila -- missed seeing you two this morning , so I'm sending a virtual {{{hug}}}. Oh, and guys: The party will be in 314.

We just got in. 474 miles and rain about half of the way.
It was a great meet. Thanks to everyone who made it happen. Liz and I had a great time.
Route 26 is a fun drive and it was real good to see the "surprise" guest.

Hey Darlene, sorry we missed the event at 314 To sum it up, we had a ball thanks to everyone who put this meet together. Will post pics when I get the chance to
It was good to see you both again. Thanks again for your involvement with the shirts and magnets as momentos.
I am sure that everyone that attended had a GREAT weekend with a good bunch of people.
Sorry that you missed the "events" in Room 314 last night. But like the slogan that Las Vegas has adopted: "What happened in Room 314, stays in Room 314". I just hope that nobody hid their camera phone, when everyone else had to check their camera's at the door.

Everyone,
What a GREAT event! I am sure that there will be a lot of pictures posted (except from Room 314) that will be much better than this one, as we have many serious photographers amongst us. So, I figured that I had better contribute mine first.

I am so happy that I drove back for this event. I will always remember it as one of the high points in my life. The best part is sitting with people and getting to talk to them and know them a little better. I just spent about 30 minutes catching up since I last looked on Sunday, before I left So Cal to drive back. I missed you Jerry and Deb! I wanted to met Vito too. Bummer.

Thanks to Carmen and Suzanne for hosting the event and for super organizing the drive and dinner. Also thanks to Norma, Virginija, and Carmen for helping wiith the BBQ side dishes and the surprise cake(s)!
Sue and I had a wonderful time. We decided to stay an extra day in Marietta. We had planned a boat ride, but it rained in the afternoon, so we went to a few museums and also the Fenton Art Glass gift shop in nearby Williamstown, WV (across the bridge from Marietta). The Hampton seems very deserted tonight; there only a few cars in the lot. It sure was a magnificent sight to see all the S's parked in a row in the lot yesterday.
I hope to post some pictures in the next few days.
Additional thanks to the group for remembering Sue's (and Carmen's) birthday!!
