You see, the car is the first 30K you spend.

Then you add in a couple of mods.

Along the way, you purchase two way radios. Then you have the meets, you rent a hotel room and buy gas for the car to get to the meets. Don't forget the digital camera you must have to take pics of said meets, and dial up internet is no longer any good as it takes too long to view the pics of the meets. At the meets you add in, dinner, T shirts, magnets, maybe a few drinks?

Oh, and check your cell phone plan to be sure you have nationwide coverage so you don't get hit with major roaming charges while on the meets/drives.

So, when you look back in a few years, you probably will have spent enough money that you could have bought a Porsche, but you would not have had any of the fun you are having with the "S" crowd. So enjoy!

I do too, Lainey. I mean who else can back me up as good as you did at SF. When I heard your voice calling out to everyone else on the radio that I had lost it, I knew that I was still on this side and the sound of your voice is now stuck in my head so now I want to hear your voice on the radio with every run I make from here on out. It was the sweetest sound I've ever heard because I thought the next voice I heard would be St. Peter's.

Why are you always trying to get me in even more trouble that I'm already in. Some pal! Guess I need to make reservations. I'm afraid though until I get used to my car again once I get it back. Looks like it's going to take three more weeks, not giving me much time before this meet.
