Le 1605 I have a high mileage AP1 with 108k on it and when I went to LE products back about 40k ago my diff quieted drastically and every time I change it now which is actually twice annually there are never and shavings on the magnetic plug.
The new Honda manual transmission fluid very much improved! No notchiness in my gearbox at all its silky smooth.
and
As Jerry explained brake and clutch fluid are hygroscopic and need to be changed with a few years on them.
Also $400 is a rip off for fluid changes. Are there any S2000 owners that live near you that can help you out?

Deb, I just changed my brake fluid after six years and 32K miles. I don't think two years is a big deal at all.
I join those who vote for Mobil 1 for the diff. The LE stuff is very thick. I ran it for several years. It didn't hurt anythign, but the car felt more responsive from a standing start once I changed it out. Plus, it is not recommended in colder climates. Although I don't drive mine in the winter, I always felt uncomfortable with that stuff on a cold morning.
I had no idea about an AP1 v AP2 difference.
