I am a control freak of the highest order. Works great in the professional world...not so good at home. Naturally, I can recommend a great book on the subject. It's an ugly look in the mirror if you are a control freak.

I've been trying to wean myself off Vintage a bit. Seems I never get things done. I even hit the Start Button and go to "Today's Active" when Vintage gets slow. It's a fact. I'm an addict. But I made it until 1:50 PM today, so there is hope for me.

Woohoo...are you gonna make it, Rob?

Thanks for asking. Actually, things have slowed a little this evening. We probably won't get many more out. Now we're concentrating on finishing some that we have and filing extensions for the rest.
By tomorrow afternoon the big crush stops. Common knowledge is that returns that are prepared tomorrow and Thursday have a high probablity of being incorrect. Too much pressure to get it right. Its sort of like skiing that one last run when you are really tired. Thats when you get hurt. A firm that I used to work for had a custom of closing on the 15th at noon and taking the entire staff out for lunch. Partly as a way of saying thank you and partly to avoid the temptation to finish that "one last return".
Don't get me wrong, we will work like dogs tomorrow but today was the last real heavy
duty day until August 15.

Rob, sounds like it's time to let your hair down, hurry on Spring Fling.
Kyras, take comfort in the fact that you're not the only addict on here. Sometimes I feel I know how a junkie feels.

Glad its over (and glad we estimated well enough not to have to pay this year)!! Having probs getting kicked off the site and then can't get on, so maybe I'll be baaaacckkk and maybe I won't . Hope everybody has a wonderful day.
