Well, the +1 leaves for FL shortly for his last big hurrah before his retirement from the Navy. Back in 2.5 weeks. He went to a job fair yesterday and practically all the companies there were interested in him. Nice to be wanted!! His search will begin in earnest when he gets back from travel.

I'm on dialup for a few days. My DSL is on the fritz. They tried putting me on another router in the building, but so far no worky. It's SLOW, but better than not having any connectivity at all.

^^Perhaps this would be a good time to split off Shoot the Breeze into a second thread -- even with high speed it takes soooo long to open.

Good idea, Val...I've been thinking about that. We are supposed to limit threads to 2000 postings, so we're a bit over on this one. OK...I'm closing it and starting STB 2!
