OK...I declare, I'm sure glad it's Friday!!! Enjoy your weekend, Everyone. The +1 is back, so I will certainly enjoy mine. Today is our six-month anniversary. Doesn't sound like long, but for me it is.

Oh and gang, did I mentioned that she looked absolutely radiant the other day at lunch? I've got to get me one of those! All of mine comes from the old radiator (and a hot water bottle).

About my purse, I figured out that I left the glasses on the seat. But there's good news. While I was out this morning, taking Rogue to the vet for neutering, two calls came to our house. One was from a guy who picked up my purse, wallet and cell phone (pieces) at a freeway on-ramp, about 4 miles from the park. He thought my purse looked like a tool bag so he stopped. When he realized what it was he picked it up the scattered stuff and called.
Then a lady farther away (35 miles from the park), found my credit cards and driver's license thrown in the desert.
This means I don't have to go get a duplicate drivers license. The thieves tried to use my credit cards but in one case I had already cancelled it and in the other it didn't work. I took an old phone to Nextel this morning and they put my old phone number on it, free of charge. I'm almost back in business.
My radar detector was taken from the car too but I was really lucky that these nice people have called and it hasn't even been 24 hours. Also, if the thieves looked a little harder, there was a dollar or two in one little change holder and a key to the car in another place.

Yep, me too granny. There are lots of good people in the world but we usually just hear about the losers. This also renews my faith in God. I'm not a bible thumper but last night I decided there was nothing more I could do, after cancelling my credit cards and I put it in Gods hands.

New York Yankees are playing really well lately. I am just hoping they can over take the Red Sox. I hope everything is falling into place for the Yanks! Go Yankees!
