I hope the more conservative treatments work for you, Patty. Surgery should definitely be a last resort. This has reminded me of all the stuff we went through with my mom over the past couple of years. We need you guys at the Fling, so take good care of yourself!!

I hate that this is happening to you, Patty...I know how important your active life is, and being debilitated can be very depressing. They have specialized back pain clinics, and you might consider looking into one of those to see if they have something that'll get you back up and around more quickly. Let us know if there's anything we can do.....what a sweet boy Kyle is to be your secretary while you're down

Kyle posting for Kyras for his Mom again.

Hi buddies!
I'm getting better. Parts of my left foot and leg are still numb but the painful spasms are decreasing. I'm even waiting until the right times to take my pain meds now. I should have an appointment later this week with a neurosurgeon to explain the MRI results and my options. I don't expect to need surgery. We are still hoping I'm up and about for Spring Fling. I haven't been too bummed out about being stuck in bed since I have been hurting too much to care but I was afraid I wouldn't get better. That's why I'm so relieved to see improvement each day.

I hope you are all enjoying top down weather in your Ss.

Know my friends care about me makes my hear happy.

Thank you, Patty

Hope you feel better reeeeel soon, Patty. SF wouldn't be the same without you and Andy. Plus we have to be the last ones to get thrown out of the party room like last time. LB doesn't know what he's asking for.

^ Hark, is that our Valentine I see up there?

You know, after all this time I discovered the Vintage Photo Thread that Kyras started.
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.ph...f=117&t=226044.
Now I have to post some pics...

Hi, Patty, I think dogs are great caregivers, too, when they sense that you are ill. You have some beautiful animals!

Take care! We are praying for a miracle here.

Patty, hope you are doing OK and improving daily.

What you have must be somewhat contagious! Rick started with something in his lower back on Sunday, and he needs big improvement before we hit the road for SF, as he's only comfortable when moving about.

to this part of being "Vintage."
