Regulations...Let's not go there... But here I go...
Andy comes home all the time and tells me the new ridiculous rules that are out there. For instance, on a construction site, the contractors (as in Andy for his workers) get fined $10,000 for tracking mud into the street. But, on the same street, a farmer is exempt after driving in his muddy fields. Right now, Andy's guys must park on the street and walk all their tools and supplies onto the property because they can't drive on the mud made from all this rain.
The jobs sites are flooded right now. In order to dry them out, the water has to be pumped through a filter system before the water can be put onto the street. Can't have dirty water on the street.

Hey everybody I had to make a unexpected trip to Nashville (Nana to the rescue - that would be me) and I was so glad to get home. It is spring here!!! Still gray and brown in Tenn, but here in the good ol GA, the tulip trees are in full bloom and the pool has a nice 1 inch rim of pollen . I am really not sad about it, I am just so happy things are turning green!!

I did notice no Betsy, lately. Glad you're back.

Thanks. I went to take care of my little granddaughter. She said "Nana" for the first time! and stood up by herself to walk without pulling up! What a weekend!

How fun! I'm not too close to being a Nana yet, I hope, but I still remember the fun of watching my, now 18 year-old, daughter learn to walk. It's exciting.

I WISH it was grass. It's all weeds and will be dead and brown by April. Then we have to clean it up.

Look what the Car of the Day is (it actually made it in the calendar twice in 2004...this is the first time on this year's calendar).

Had lunch today with an interesting new guy...he is an engineer but has owned a car restoration biz for quite awhile. Some of his recent restorations are an Austin Healey 3000, an MGA, and a Jaguar XJS V-12. Has also done many Corvettes. Knows LOTS about cars...he even said he'd be willing to give a talk at Spring Fling, but I have to see whether he's invited or not.
