Yep, red hair... nobody seems to know where that came from! (Maybe that ought to go in the controversial thread!!)
For a red-headed little girl, she is the most good-natured baby. Always has been. Hardly ever fusses. I keep telling her mother how blessed she is and doesn't even know it.

Yup - they are. I'm too active to get into staying at home babysitting, but always love the time I spend with them. The only biologically-connected one I have just reminds me of myself and of my grandmother (not so much of her mother or of my mother). She and I have a blast when we're together (she's the curly-haired one. The other one is my daughter's stepdaughter, Annie, who we've known since she was about a year old and we're Nana and Grandpa to her, too. She's very reserved compared to Alex....2 totally opposite sisters).

Lainey and Uppity - they're darlings! Ruh-roh, Uppity, I think I see a redhead there
The younger one looks like she's got a bit of devil (in a good way) in her.

I'm one of five sisters, and we are all very different too.

Sometimes it's hard to believe we were all raised in the same house by the same parents.

Patty, I understand exactly what you are talking about here.
That helps, Sam, that you understand. We don't really know anyone in this situation that feels like we do about our kids. Even our son, Kyle, who is 16 years-old, said yesterday that he's going to miss Christa a lot, when she moves out. Of course he also said he wanted her room and he's annoyed that he won't get it.

Betsy and Ruth, your grand kids are adorable too. I think they must keep us going as we get older, or maybe I should say that I think they will keep me going.

Does anybody else watch JAG on TV? Andy got hooked on it and now I'm hooked too. I really like that show and since we just recently got hooked, we are watching the reruns as if they were new.

Yep - we love that show. And if you like that one, you may also like NCIS, which is actually a spin-off of Jag but it's different in that it's a military investigative/forensics team....also a quality show. I've watched Jag from the very beginning. It's funny to watch the first ones because the guy that plays Harm was so stiff and not a great actor....must've taken acting lessons in the off-season because by season 2, he was a natural.

Josey, NCIS is a spinoff of CSI, Mark Harmon and the group were on CSI show, then appeared the next season. I watch JAG, CSI, NCIS, and once in a while the CSI NY, and rarely CSI Miami. (Don't care for the red headed actor) I think JAG is better this season getting back to cases instead of watching Harm and Col. McKenzie try, week after week after week, to see how they felt about each other. It was getting boring.

Best show on TV is Boston Legal... cracks me up. The next best show is MythBusters.

Bite your tongue, Morris! That is one of the reasons I like it so much. I just want them to jump each other but Andy says it'll never happen. Probably right for once.

Nope - sorry, Morris, they were on Jag (sheesh, what kind of fan are you, anyway?):
