OK...MsP just made it into the 21st century by buying a DVD player! My VCR bit the dust the other day. I thought it would be a pain to install it, but all I had to do was disconnect the cable and TV wires and plug them into the new machine. Great!! Now I'm ready to watch that Fall Colors DVD I just ordered. Woohoo!

Friday night my family and I went to my Dad's house for an unusual family get together. My dad has been married 4 times, (my mom was wife number 2). My current step-mom, Mary, was/is wife number 3 and 4. So this get together was started because my sister, Jeanne, from dad's first marriage was over from Kauai with her family, and Mary's daughter from her first (and third) marriage, was in from Georgia. (Mary married Gordon, then my Dad, then Godon, then my Dad)
So we had Mary's two kids and two of my Dad's three kids there. I really had a good time and was happy to meet my step-brother and step-sister for the first time in around 30 years. I especially liked my step-brother, Stephen, his wife and their son. But I'm so sad about it to. My Dad was there in body but not much in mind. I guess that was why we all got together. I look at the whole roll of pictures I took that night and he looks like he doesn't know what's going on. It's ing. Here are a few photos.
^Mary and my Dad.
^My step-brother's wife, Kim, Mary's daughter, Christine, and Mary's son, Stephen.
^ My sister, Jeanne, my Dad and me.
^ Jeanne's family, my Dad and Mary and my family.

Hi Patty
Those are wonderful photos. It's sad that your father is going through this, and it has to hurt to see him like that and be unable to do anything. Your photos will help you cherish the time you have with him.
Best wishes...

Hi Patty, cherish the memories and continue to make more while you still have him with you. I swear I see his dimples on you and your sister's face. Glad the family got together and thanks for sharing.
