^ She said she was very busy and would not be posting much for awhile. Same with Darlene, but she has been posting a bit more.

Thanks, Deb. At Fall Colors she said she thought she might be getting sick so I was worried she got too run down and was ill.

Awwww, you're absolutely right, though. I did get too run down at Fall Colors and was ill (it was worth it, though). The sore throat turned into an inner ear infection and I could not raise my head off the pillow and when I did, I had to crawl (not walk) to the john. Guess I underestimated the part it plays in equilibrium (the inner ear, not the john). And for the record, I do believe that's what was wrong in Ohio on our Rt. 26 run as well. It's the only thing that makes sense now.

I'm better and tried to come back to work today but still leaning to the right (affected side). Thanks for asking. I've got a Christmas recital coming up in 3 weeks and can't afford to be out sick, so yes Deb, I'll be busy from here on out.

^ Glad you are better. I remember your talking about the recital stuff, so I assumed that was it. Dizziness is the worst. I get it sometimes for absolutely no reason that I can figure out. But it is positional, so I can compensate for it somewhat.

Wow, Granny!

Are you the party girl of the Vintage group? What goes on at these Vintage meets? I must find out!

Not sure how long I'll be able to hang at Spring Fling! After Rick and I make a 9+ hour ride to get there, I'll be surprised if we don't fall asleep at the bar!

PS hope you feel better soon!
Well thanks, Lainey. Me? A party girl? Maybe back in the day but now, I'm the first one in bed.....

9+ hours, that's a long haul but you forget all about it once you arrive and everybody starts getting simple. That's how/why you overdo it, you don't realize the time because you're having such a good time if everybody's on at the same time. And heaven help us if TC and Hilly make it back. It'll be so nice to meet you and Rick. Oh, and the other thing is we all fade fast after a certain hour anyway, being vintage and all. Just bring a swimsuit to help me and Perk keep Jerry underwater a little longer if he comes, then it's nighty-night for all the Vintage kiddies.

And Deb, dizziness was the least of my problems, seems my stomach said "since I don't know which way is up, I ain't playing no more" and kept itself empty for 3 days, no matter what I ate or tried to eat. The sad part is, you didn't know which position was vertical and ended up looking like the leaning tower of Pisa. Sigh

The last time I had to crawl to the john it had something to do with Jack Daniels. NEVER AGAIN, I tell ya.

I've heard of that inner ear thing where your balance is off kilter. Vertigo, I think. My mom had it once and was told not to go up in altitude, even to 3,000 feet because it might kick in.

Glad you're feeling better Granny. We survived FC in pretty good shape here. You can bet we'll be back for SF, we already have the days blocked out and all I need to do is make the reservation.

I do need to find out roughly when Rt26 and FC05 will be; there's a couple of major projects happening next year and I need to get my dibs in on days off.
