It's nice to have you here minako, you little cutie you. (I met her briefly at Sac2kdays so I know of what I 'speak'.)

Hope everyone has a nice weekend planned. It's soccer time for the kids, so we're full time soccer parents for a while.

Kyras~!!!

Yay weekend is here... But it seems I never get enough rest on the weekends anymore. I'm always out and about, running errands and the like. Or even worse... homework!

I hope everybody has a better weekend than mine! hehehe

I'm pathetic. I keep coming to S2ki.com, hoping to find a PM awaiting me about when the 2005 S2000s should be coming. Matt Piercy is waiting on the VINs from Honda and I am waiting for him to let me know. No news yet.

OK, back to work... I make Andy a photo assembly every year for his birthday. I get a 16" x 20" frame, and put the best representative photos of our past year in it. It's cool to see the collection of frames all together on the wall because you see how the kids have changed each year and what we've been into for fun. I didn't get the digital photos back from winkflash.com for over a week after they were supposedly shipped so his present is a little late. It's looking good and the hard part is done. This year even includes me with a snippet of the S2000 in two of the pictures.

Patty,

That's a cool idea! Andy is a lucky guy.

Spent Wednesday through Friday in San Antonio. Great trip. Lots of time in Fredericksburg with antique shops, Texas wine tasting, and home of Fisher and Wieser (www.jelly.com) tasting all the new items. On Saturday we took the back way home to Dallas. Instead of taking I35 we took FM281 to Lampases and then across on FM190. Adds and hour to the run but four lane back roads posted at 70 is more fun than the law allows. Which brings me to my point. We were rolling along at 75 just before Marble Falls and a State Trooper pulls me over. When he came up to the car he was laughing and said that we looked like we were having way to much fun. With that he went back to his car and continued north. What a bummer.
Continued the trip home without incident. Still had fun. I do love the Hill Country. If I could only figure out how to live there and still earn a living.

I tried to talk Grannyrod into a few side trips while she was in Texas (she was pretty close to Austin), but she didn't stay for very long and it doesn't sound like she's planning to come back (or at least to DRIVE back) - it is a LONG trip from VA. I also enjoy Austin, love Salado and Gruene - it is my favorite part of Texas (so far).

Very cool Birthday idea!

Have you seen the 2005 S2000 website yet? I didn't know how new it was.
