Sorry Andy's birthday wasn't happier, Patty! Those occasions do seem to bring up unresolved issues. I just basically ignore mine!
I told my Christa love, about her daddy's hurt feelings over her not being there for his birthday. It seems since it was her first day of school as a High School Senior(!), she kind of forgot about dad's birthday. I told her to explain that to him tonight and he'll feel much better.

My birthday was Jan. 29th and I told everyone that what I wanted was for us to all go to Las Vegas and see the Blue Man Group. We haven't done it yet but we are tentatively planning it for November.

To Blue Man Group.

We have seen them in Vegas as well as Boston. The Boston show was in a much smaller theater, but both were great.

If you have not seen the show, it's just like the commercials........"you really can't describe it." "You have to see it for yourself."

Hope you get there soon Patty!

We haven't seen The Blue Man Group, but we really want to. If you haven't seen 'O' I highly recommend it.

It is a Cirque Du Soleil show at the Bellagio. It is performed on a stage that is sometimes a stage and sometimes a pool and sometimes a little of both. It is a very good, but pricey show.

Here is a link to the Bellagio site. Click on the Entertainment tab and then 'O'.

I believe there was a movie "O" modeled after Shakespeare's "Othello." I didn't hear particularly great things about it though.

The other "O" is probably not suitable for discussion while at work

Actually the shows name is a cleaver play on word. The show is centered around water and Cirque Du Soleil is French-Canadian. The French word for water is "eau", which is pronounced O.

Vegas is sin city so other "O" ......

Wink

LOL But "O" is not dirty (at least in a way I can tell).

The other show put on by Cirque du Soleil, called Zumanity, is a lot more provocative. It's playing at the New York New York Hotel. I haven't gone to see it myself... I like to stick to the 'cleaner' stuff.
