I guess you're right. You'll just have to drive it here for fall colors.

Actually there are car transporters that carry it in an enclosed trailer. Thats how they ship classic cars to shows. I think there is one by the name of Horseless Carriage. I imagine that they're pretty expensive though.

For a while, s2k_redhead (Kathy) had a 2 S family, but I believe they sold one of them.

Screw the shipping, Patty... How about a nice loooooong drive.

I recall seeing someone's photo post of 2 S2000's, one was red, and in the background was a pretty wood deck and a wood house. Could this be the home of them?
That's probably them, Kyras -- she has a silverstone and he has a red one. I think her screenname is smmcoy and his is ron -- they're on the Carolinas forum and host meets. As a matter of fact, I think they're doing a dragon run this weekend (or maybe last weekend ). I met them at FC03 and then went down for a meet in the Carolinas last year -- they are GREAT FOLKS and loads of fun to be around. I'm sure they'd love to hear from you.

Is anyone interested in a comparison of the pre-2004 and the 2004 S2000? Here is an article that compares the dyno outputs of them. It's from the Temple of VTEC - Honda and Acura Enthusiasts Online.

Yeah, I met Kathy and her husband at the Streets of Willow track in Rosamond a couple months ago. He said it was dumb to have two S2000s! They sold her red one, kept the black one, and he bought a white Porsche. (She's the Kathy in the photo at the beginning of the Odds and Ends, Vintage photo thread.)

As far as the drive, I would consider it if I didn't have to drive my son to/from school.

Patty, took these shots this evening after a nice, few hours of solace with Neb. Here's what you have to look forward to. I tend to look at the world through Suzuka-colored glasses!

I love the way this first one came out. You can actually make me out in the headlamp reflector.
You sick, sick puppy, Chaz!

You remind me of me. I went to Kennedy Meadows Friday afternoon by myself, just for the night, and took my S. What did I do? Friday evening, I was enjoying the total peace and quiet when my vision landed on my S. It's just so fine to look at. I took tons of pictures and then moved it for a different background, and took more, and moved it again, and took some more. I think we have a sickness. If I have it this bad now, what will happen when I get the Suzuka?

BTW, today my son is 16 years-old. He had 6 buddies sleep over last night. More are to come today. He was born on 8-8-88.
