^ Oh boy...don't get me started on the ER sitch. Both my parents have made several visits to the local one (I won't mention the hospital) and the wait to be admitted was the worst, not to mention that nursing care has seriously deteriorated because of the shortage of nurses. The past year or so has been particularly bad...average wait to be admitted was about 10 hours! All the time lying on that very uncomfortable gurney in the ER, mostly in the hallway after initial treatment. It was especially bad for my mother with her back pain. I hope we are done with that place for awhile.

How is your brother, Granny?

Right! Even once the decision is made to admit, they often wait for hours for a room, and are unfortunately quite uncomfortable in the ER, where it almost seems as if they have been forgotten about completely.

He's in good spirits and if there's no fever, he should come home today. Recovery time is less for laproscopic surgery so once he rests up, he should be back in the saddle. He couldn't sleep because staff was so noisy partying in the hallway all night and his roommate laid on the buzzer and shouted out orders all night because he couldn't get anyone to come. Another patient was allowed to moan and scream all night. She begged me to help her when I walked by. I was so upset by the whole ordeal. I just don't get it but like you, I hope we're done with that place for a while too.

Yes, there are vents in the motorcycle ones. I don't know much about street helmets.

How y'all doin' today?

I have a sol'n to the helmut head problem... go bald. OK, well, maybe that's a little extreme.

So, it looks like there'll be a good Vintage turnout at FC04, eh? I'm pretty much on the fence, more leaning toward not going. We'll see.
