Hi gang, I'm baaaaaack! But in tanned (er) body only. My mind should make it back this weekend (maybe), it missed the flight. Had a wonderful time, gave new meaning to the words "beach bum", water was crystal clear and bathtub warm (almost), got waited on hand and foot, ate like a yard dog, drank like a fish, shopped til I dropped. The weather was hot but the trade winds kept it bearable. The trip moved into the #1 spot as my best vacation ever (even over cruising) and that's saying something. Didn't get to/want to do much sightseeing it was so beautiful where we were. Starting missing you guys on the plane back. I see y'all all behaved for the most part, except for KB in the kitchen trying to steal my thunder. I'll post more during the coming week. Took all of my lunch hour just to read the STB thread. Thanks for asking about me, S1997.

Well, my dad's talk was very good and everyone remarked on how he made a complex subject understandable. And he threw a couple of jokes in there, too. I was impressed...he's a highly respected member of Rotary. Very involved over the years. One of the other members is going to scan his notes and email him a file that he can send to people who want a copy. So if it turns out OK, I'll post it for those who are interested.

Good Morning, Y'all! Just wanted you to know that I'm quoted in today's Wash Post in John Kelly's column in the Style section - "Residents, Workers Value Points of View". I sent in a blurb on the view from my condo and he published quotes from it with my name attached. I'm famous!!
