Just heard they're closing some government agencies early in the city. The kid is getting ready to make like the wind and blow on up outta here. Talk to you guys tomorrow. Good luck, Perkster.

I've got to prepare for a test tomorrow. A colonoscopy I'm counting on you guys to keep me company in the afternoon.

I like the part of leaving work early (but it has a price). I have some paperwork to do here, I thought about getting into some heavy cleaning in my living room. Wash woodwork, windows, change curtains, but decided that would not be wise with only Apple juice and Gatorade in my system. I can NOT eat Jello, nor can I drink broth. So, I guess due to the lack of sustenance in my system, I'll have to hang out here in between drinking "liquid plumber" as Levi calls it, and the trips to another room in my house. Is this too much information?

It's only routine, due to family history, and I've been before, so I know the "studying for the test" is the worse part. Ah, the joys of being of Vintage age.

Hi Lainey. See, I'm keeping you company. I gotta tell you. Andy got overly jealous of me being on S2ki and I've been told to be off by 6PM! I guess I can get back on after he goes to bed but I've been told!

OH, oh. Well come back tomorrow afternoon while Andy's working. I'll be home just after 2:00. You can talk me through drinking the liquid plumber for people.

Thanks Levi. We're supposed to see very low 60's. We've got a lot going on this week, so I'm hoping they predicted correctly for Sunday. It's supposed to be high 50's and sunny. That means we HAVE to make time for a ride in the S.

Good luck with the scope, Lainey. To me the prep is the worst part of the whole thing. Drinking the solution, whether it's Fleets or the gallon of PEG, was a major problem for me, to the point my gag reflex was triggered as soon as the stuff entered my mouth. The last time I did this (May last year) I took a number of pills that did the same thing as the cleanout fluid. For me taking the pills (even there were a LOT of them) was much easier than the liqiud crap. Plus I was a lot cleaner inside afterwards, and the scope went a lot better (better view due to being cleaner).

Hope it all goes well.

^Thanks, Tom. It's a day of inconvenience, but necessary. Nothing compared to what you and many go through when dealing with medical issues.

All seem to agree that the prep is the worse part. I'm not a big drinker of any kind. Telling me to drink 6 glasses of water in two hours after drinking the liquid plumber is enough to set my gag reflex going too. I'll guzzle the mag citrate and hold my nose as the taste is awful.

Last time the prep was a bit much (though I honestly thought I had enough fluids in me), but Rick had to pick me up off the bathroom floor. I told him if it happens again, just bring me to the ER for an IV

^Ugh is right, Chaz.

I'm home and just drank the FIRST bottle of liquid plumber. Years ago when I had this done it was ONE bottle of the nasty stuff then pills. I think I much preferred that. Not sure how I'll get the second one down without

I promise not to share TMI as my day goes on. Glad I've got this place to goof off while I wish my day away.
