As you said, Tom, you are holding your own. That counts for something. Keep posting and keep the faith!!

Last night wasn't the best. I ran a 101* fever for most of the night, and I had some pretty bad (ok, excruciating) pain in the liver area. The fever is what's called a "tumor fever" and is the result of tumor activity. That coupled with the pain means things are going on. I haven't had anything like this since before mid-year, before I was diagnosed and began treatments. Fortunately I begin another regime of chemo next Wednesday, so hopefully that will help things.

In the meantime, I'm sucking down vicodin for the pain, and spending most of my time in my recliner trying to find a position that doesn't aggravate the liver.

Sorry to hear you are not feeling well, Tom.

Hang in there. Hoping the next round of meds brings much improvement.

It's going to be a busy year. We have a lot to look forward to. There is a trip to AZ in April, SF06 in June, the New England Nor'Easter in August, then in late August or early September another grand is to arrive on the scene.

Every now and again I have Ally over so my son and daughter in law can "get some things done around the house." Now I figured out exactly what was getting done!

Where was I? I never saw this post or the earlier one by tom. Don't know if you're on much Tom, but I'm thinking of you.
