Default Zex Spark Plugs

I was just curious to see if anyone has used these before. I planned to run them on my S with a 50 shot. Denso IK24's were another option but they were going to be about 65 bucks, as opposed to the 20 bucks that these cost, so I figured I would give them a shot.

- I "HEARD" from more than one source that they are SH!T / CRAP / GARBAGE

- I just used NGK plugs, none of that expensive shlt, in my civic squeezing 100 shot and it was fine

Do not use the zex spark plugs. Mine fouled real bad. When I pulled them out the porcelin insulaters was cracked. Only a matter of time before that insulator would have seperated and played ping-pong in one of my chambers. I run Champion Copper plus part # 436 rc12Lc4 these are one step colder than normal for the s2000. Normal is 318 rc12mc4. I have used the 318's during spraying but they take a beating and I know one person that used the 318's during spraying and the porcelin insulater feel apart in his chamber. The 436 are the way to go. I also know someone that had the iridiums fail during a nitrous run when on the dyno. Not sure if he was using the ik24's or ik22's. So far I have had no problems with the 418's and the insulaters look clean with not much pitting! The copper plus cost 8 dollars or so for all four.
If your spraying nitrous I would buy three or four sets and change after every bottle for the first few bottles just to make sure all is running well. Pull the plugs two or three times during the first bottle. Check the insulators for cracks. The insulator is the first thing to fail! Once ya change or check the plugs a few times its a job that can be done in ten minutes plus it makes ya feel cool~~~~~~

Disclaimer:
By the way several people do run Denso Iridiums and spray and never had a problem. I actually might
try them. I ran iridiums without spraying and really liked them. Seemed to help on hot summers days when bogging can be an issue!

Ok, I guess I will just return the Zex plugs then.

I have heard the best things about the NGK's so I think I will go for a set of those. Where did you get yours GSP?
