Zeal Coilover Owners: I NEED HELP WITH TUNING
I had my Zeals installed last week and went to the track on Saturday. I was expecting a huge improvement over what I had on before, Comptech adjustable sport springs with stock shocks. However, after my first run (setting was at 3) it was way too soft and bouncy, the car felt so unsettled I had to come in after 3 laps. I adjusted to 5 and it was much better but still getting alot of rear end bounciness. I am not sure what I need to do to eliminate this unsettling characteristic of the setup. I am thinking possibly the spring rate is to firm and should loosen them up a little. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I currently have the fronts set at 4 and rears at 3, the car is lowered about an inch all the way around and I still get a bouncy feeling when going over bumps.
I will be taking it in to get it cornerweighted next week but thought I would check in with you guys to see if there is something I can do before I go to the track this weekend.

S2R, basically what RT has said is the following:
"You need to reduce your preload (set the sag lower) and use the ride height adjustment to get the car back to your desired ride height. Then you might want to decrease the compression damping to let the rear get futher into the stroke of the
damper. Another back assward way of thinking about it is if you want to increase rebound damping but don't have that option then decreasing compression instead gets you the difference between compression and rebound that you were after to begin with (just at a softer setting overall)."
