Looks sharp. VHT makes some very good products. Will fuel damage/remove the paint?

VHT makes some good stuff. I've seen a guy use their wrinkle red and it looks almost identical to the stock red for our valve covers with a SLIGHT hint of orange (seriously, extremely slight, almost not noticeable).

Looks good though, hopefully it stays on there for a while. Prep is key with these types of things

Second pic got my worried as well. Looks like a bad rattle can job until the finished product. I really like the oem textured look. Well done, how did you get it rough like that?

That looks great. I have an AP2V1 cover on order to replace mine, but given how long it's taking Magestic, they may be no more left.

I am thinking about doing mine in a dark blue...this looks easy.

Just use the right VHT paint. The very high temp paint comes in regular or wrinkle finishes. The rough look just comes out as it dries.
