Yellow Box for Gears - Dummy here - NEED HELP

The first time I wired mine, was at the ECU. The CEL came on immediately upon getting the car moving. The speed signal is used by more than just the speedo and the lack of a proper signal will trip the CEL on multiple circuits.

I would assume that messing up the speedo info would also have an impact on ABS?
BTW, I used 11.25% this morning and then had the car recalibrated. Supposedly it was true until they recorded 60 and 70 mph. At those speeds, the calibration machine read 58 and 68 mph respectively.
To me, this makes sense. The faster I go, the more "off" it is. Before the YB, they said I was 7 mph off across the whole range(20-70 mph). To boot, they charged me another $40. i asked if i could change the YB before they rolled it off. They said, "Sure. That will be another $40." Needless to say(but I'm gonna say it anyway), I did not fork over another $40.

About 60 miles and no CEL.
I reset my trip odometer on the freeway and ran off ten miles. The odometer had about .2 miles more than the freeway mile markers.

As for calibrating your speedo with the YB, why not just get paced by a cop or another S2000 at a few different speeds. With the S2000 as a pace car, you'll know that you're running the same error as a stock vehicle. With the cop car, you'll know you are in line with what will get you a ticket.
BTW, the difference between a stock S2000 and the cop car should only be between 1% and 2% - not a real big deal.
