Year 2000 Chirping sound from Trans Help
Hi,
This is my first post on this forum, please let me know if I have posted in the wrong area or need to change anything..
I have already replaced my clutch, Full OEM + ACT Pressure plate/Flywheel. I've also replaced my belt tensioner, and none of that had resolved the sound.
This video is not mine, however it does reciprocate the sound on my car fairly well. I have also had a shop confirm that the sound is coming from my transmission.
I haven't been able to find any solution or reason as to why my car is making this sound. I am not having any difficulties shifting or anything. If I had to complain about a problem that was coincidently getting worse when the sound had appeared, it would be getting into first gear or reverse from a complete stop.
Mainly reverse, I would constantly need to shift through all my gears in hopes that I could get into the reverse gear.
I'm just curious if anyone else had this problem and what it might be.

Did you pack the inner ring of the Throw Out Bearing with grease and coat the input shaft & Threads with the special grease that comes with the clutch kits usually or at least just regular grease ?
Sounds like the Throw Out Bearing is dry to me just listening to the video.
