Wut is the problem.... Can someone help me ... anyone...=(
I have a new 2002 s2k only with 4000 miles on it... and it feels slower then both my my cousins s2k... I dont know if it the clutch slipping from 1st to 2nd going to redline.... or the grinding the happenes in 1st to 2nd.......or even a sutter... the occurs coming off of 1st.... .. there is deffinetly something wrong here... I just wanted too know if someone out there can... tell me wuts wrong with my s2k.... can I get some answers..?? is anyone else having this problem...??? please repley....

ps... if my clutch would grab harder I know I'd be winning more races....

You answered your own question. If your clutch is slipping, your gears are grinding and the host of other problems you are complaining about while taking off, I 'd say your car is telling you to break me in properly. How many miles does your cousin's car have? People believe the car gets stronger after 5000 miles. Could be the case here.
Also what mods, does your cousin have compared to yours? Some cars respond better to mods than others.

aite thanks....so the new clutch should change everything.. thanks.... oh and by the way... my injen CAI is coming I paid 240 for it.... couldnt find a better deal.... hope wit a new clutch and a new CAI my car would feel alot faster... thanks guys...

Sounds like a glazed clutch.....ditto.
Remember you folks who are inclined to dump the clutch!!!!Do it HIGH!!!
The stock tires are very sticky and if you don't break them loose in the dump then the next link is the clutch.....which will more then willingly glaze over.
