WTF i hate cv's
so my s2k is obviously lowered a about an 1.5-2 inches on kg/mm springs and its been for awhile and its also an ap1 so recently i have developed the normal clunking under acceleration issue where the cup surface gets all f@#k up. so i decided when i installed my new brakes i'd swap out my cv's which i have done a number of times on all my old civics which ate through them so i have practice...anyways i get the new cv's in and i have the longer on on the passenger side and the shorter one on the driver side but when i lower the car of the jacks and go ot take of even under very low power i loud grinding noise comes from teh rear of the car and i noticed the driverside boot closest to the diff is all contorted so i pull eveythign apart seperate the cup and shaft inspect everything and put it all bakc together and reassemble it and i have hte same problem again, someone help me before a young s2k dies!!!

no the short is on the divers side far as i know i measured from the same points on each side and hte pass. was 2" longer plus thats why the driverside goes out first on the lowered cars cause the angle of the center shaft is at a greater angle over a shorter distance.... and as far as taking it back it took me a week for them to fine me this one...so i guess i am gonna swap cups on the old ones to buy me sometime and either fix it or trade it in this s2k has been nothing but trouble for me since day one!!!
