would this hurt??
my gasket on my J's exhaust got a little bent. and i need to get a new one. i can't tell if it is leaking or not. until i get a new one, should i just leave the bent one in or remove it? what could happen if i don't have one on?

An exhaust leak would be obvious, like a loud riced out civic, it would not be a quiet sssshhhhhhh!
Turn on the car and listen close then put your hand all around the gasket without touching it! Do you feel any hot air escaping?
