Default Worried about F20 supply

I've always been wondering if there will still be a supply of brand new engines or transmissions for when my mine fails some time within the next 5 years. Does Honda keep a good amount of spare engines?

legally they have to make them until 10 years after production, but I think they should be available even longer than that. No official word from anyone but that's my guess. Honda makes good profit off parts so I think they will still produce parts.

But for F20 would that be 10 years from 2003?
Either way I agree that they'll have something, be it new or factory rebuilt, for quite some time.

I think the requirement is 10 years after the car stopped being produced, not model changes.

FWIW I can pull up a carburetor from a 1972 z600 on majestic honda's website , so that is a good sign ?

Don't loose sleep over it. Just buy them from re-yards or rebuild them yourself.
