Worn clutch disc?
I bought a ACT clutch/pp on the cheap yesterday (it is used)
How can I tell if the disc is almost gone? The grooves cut into the disc material are still there, but it seems to be almost worn to the rivets. How much material should there be "above" the rivets?
Also, there is a tiny bit of metallic "hair" coming off the material closest to the inside.
Id like to just throw this in tonight and have it last a couple months, then get a new setup. thanks for your answers.
edit: If anyone knows of a place that has a new disc in stock in the SO-CAL area I'll just buy a new one. I can't wait around for a couple days while it is ordered
