O and before you go any further, take off your oil pick up, and take off ALL your bearing caps. Because theres no rule to say that the ticking/knocking was only coming from the 4th cylinder. Just before you go ordering anything. No. 2 cylinder was the weak one in my case even though under diff circumstances.

thanks man helping alot where can i pick up the plastic crush stuff and whats the point of taking off the oil pickup? just to clean it up or what? so your saying the rod cap looks fine in the picture?

You gotta take off your oil pickup to get to you no. 1 rod. I think your caps look ok, but Im saying that through a computer picture. Might help to get some 'wet dry' sandpaper of the finest grade and polish them up a little. When you do that also dip the paper in oil to give it some lubrication. But when you polish it polish the entire surface so to keep it as even as possible. The important thing is your crush. Not enough means there will be too much play, too much means you wont get good circulation of oil.
