Default Work shop manual

tomorrow i am refitting my new sump and i need the torque specs.
can anyone help?

Tighten the bolts in two or three steps. In the final
step,tighten all bolts,in sequence to 12 N m
(1.2 kgf m, 8.7 lbf. ft ) .

12nm.... Shit when I undid them they seemed way tighter...... U sure??

Just rang honda service... They said 40nm... Wtf lol that's tight as... Don't think so

If by Sump you mean oil pump, hope this helps.

The force needed to undo a fastener on most cars requires way more torque than what is recommended to install it. That's the way it is when galvanic adhesion is involved. EG, the front engine damper pulley is torqued on with 181 lb/ft. It requires in excess of 500 lb/ft to break one loose. This should be no surprise to anyone who has worked on cars before where a fastener of one type of metal is screwed into a different kind of metal.

Thanks guys for all your help. It was spot on. 12nm.

I phone 8 service centres before this post one out of all of them one guy phones be back just after this post. He confirmed 12nm....
