Woosh noise. What is it?

Rad fan?? if you were driving quick, there may have been enough flow to not require the fan to be on. Once you slowed, all of the sudden the temp started to rise, creating the need to turn on the rad fan.
Possible?

may have been the ac compressor. This kinda sounds like as discribed? No studdering or anything like that in car performance, runs fine. And I wasnt driving quick at all, just cruising thru a parking lot.
