Hey everyone, I hope you are all well, thought I owed you all an update, especially after all the help you guys offered me.
So, turns out, when I rang the garage they said, you should ring your insurance as they will bring the car to us for free, turns out that was true, phew, the garage was over an hour away.
Anyway, its been there a few weeks and I just received an email, the problem was........... wait for it, drum roll.........
"The car starts; we have neutralised the alarm system's fuel cut-off but kept the remote start. It will be ready tomorrow evening at 3 p.m."
So there you go, it was the immobiliser after all, and it obviously stops the fuel pump from doing its job, arrrgggghhh I dont know how much I have to pay yet, but will be so pleased to have my baby back for the summer.
Wishing you all the best, and thanks ever so much for everyones times xx

Actually it sounds like it was NOT the immobilizer but it was the Thatcham alarm inhibiting fuel flow based upon what you just told us. Glad you got it sorted. Life is too f-ing short to not be able to drive your S2000.
