Yeah plugs will be wet but if you dont have the proper pressure than it aint gonna run

you need a fuel pressure guage and install it at the fuel pulsation damper at the fuel rail, at idle it should read 38-46psi

what would the pressure be with it off since the car doesn't start?

true....47-54psi just by turning key on.

So this isn't looking good. Pulled the intake off working my way to the crank sensor and saw this.

The lower intake arm was nearly full of water. I assume from the heavy rain we had here on Monday night it accumulated into the intake. There was also a small puddle in the intake manifold.

When I started it Tuesday morning it ran for a few seconds and cut out.

I am guessing it hydro locked?

I pulled all the plugs and fuel pump fuse and cranked it a few times but no water came out of the spark plug holes.

Not sure what to do now. I have it all opened to air out for now.

Good news. As per usual Billman had a solution, and it worked. Car is running now, no codes, letting it idle until warm then going ot check oil for water contaimination.

ouch, if it was hydrolocked though, it wouldnt crank.....right? have you tried to start it without the intake on?
