Hello,
I am running a F20c engine in my caterham race car, just got the engine back from having new bearings fitted and during a test day the car wont rev past 8200 rpm, and it is straining to reach those revs, the guy I use to tune it looked at the map and everything is the same as last season (Running on Haltech ECU) Ive replaced the plugs, checked all the electric connections and ran it on different fuel and changed the filter, all to no avail. Im now thinking it could possibly be the fuel pump or regulator? As the problem is only happening at the higher end of the rev range and as the car is otherwise running fine could this be the problem? Also has any one replaced the stock fuel regulator to a FSE Power boost valve or something similar? Im thinking of doing this for ease of adjustment. Sorry to go on but I noticed the car is also running cooler than normal although the fuelling is spot on?? Thanks for the help
