The seals inside the Master Cylinder have either given out or the slave cylinder is leaking. This is a VERY common issue. Replace both, bleed the system. You're good.

Look underneath the dash and follow the clutch pedal mechanism to the firewall, look for a leak. Sometimes the MC leaks from the back. The slave usually leaks behind the rubber cover in the trans so you cant see it.

if it was the clutch going out, you would be able to freely go into gear without stepping on the clutch, its more than likely the master cylinder seal went and no pressure is being pushed down to te slave or fork, check for tar color like or any sort of wetness around the cylinder's plunger right behind the clutch pedal

Thanks thanks thanks!!!! Yes there is a ugly leak by the clutch pedal.... and the fluid in the resevior is really black n dirty... ima change it out soon.. but i got a quick question. Do i have to do a gravity bleed or do i just pump it out by pressing onto the clutch multiple times??

Seems as though the gravity method is easiest since it only requires one person to do it.

EDIT: found a great DIY for you man: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/993...ravity-method/

Im not a fan of gravity bleeding. Just do it the right way with a helper and bleed it with the pedal.

I did the gravity bleed with ATE super blue. Clutch pedal feels like new and my brakes are like air brakes! Gravity bleed is only way to go IMO..
