What do these intakes do for the sound of the S2K? I have driven a few RSX-S's, and they are fairly loud stock. If you put an intake on one of those bad boys, you won't need an exhaust! (at least not for sound). It sounds GREAT!
I would love to have a more open intake on the S2K if it would accentuate that sound, especially at VTEC

Sooner or later, someone will come along and drop $1,000 on something that probably doesn't outperform a $100 intake but I'm sure it's for the bling factor and nothing else.

The mid-range response of the J's intake is better than Mugen. Mugen has a better performance at peak.

The "SUSAGE" part of the J's intake is designed for ultimate throttle response and mid-range power however , that "SUSAGE" will decreases your peak power. The quality of the J's is excellent but one thing is , it uses a cheap air filter which you will find it is an exact same filter that you get from APC or Ractive intakes

well, if you look at the design, the use of a velocity stack would be pointless as the air coming into the filter enters another chamber.

Do you think it worth to pay $1000 for a few HP that the intake will get. IMO the a spoon/comptech filter plus the spoon air duct will make almost the same gain at cheaper price and you are not using crappy pieces

Can you tell me if I an too wrong?

thanks

You're obviously right, why would anyone use crappy pieces?
