The main engine harness. It connects to the ECU and to all connections on the motor.

Some guy in another thread who claims to be an appraiser say's you can't splice a Honda harness. At least an insurance company won't signoff on it anymore.

There really is no telling what the prob really is given this info. The Coils have splices that power all of them, and ground all of them. The ignitor built into the coil is control by a seperate wire to each one from the PCM.

I doubt either power or gorund splice is bad unless someone has been dicking with the engine harness. The coil plugs may be screwed up, yet again from someone messing with it.

OEM wiring harnesses are built very well, rarely causing problems unless someone has been splicing into them, or the car has been wrecked breaking connectors, or someone who doesn't know how to unplug a connector breaks it.
