Windshield wiper removal/install.

Bumping this as it what the biggest PITA to get the wipers off of my car. Whoever put the last ones on put some cheap garbage that made it look like you push the clips together to get them off. No that arrow that points straight and says "OPEN" means lift up and rip the old one off. I could see why some people have trouble getting certain wipers off. Really easy to put on though. On a side note, Autozone had a much smaller selection of 16" wipers.

i'd just cut the old ones off or snap the plastic retainer if they aren't OEM. The OEM's are inexpensive and the blade replacements are dead nuts easy to install. I bought the wipers from majestic for, what, 10 bucks EACH...and they included new blades!
I just did this myself and will be sticking with OEM from here on out.

I bought the rubber blade inserts, but I'm having trouble fitting one of the new ones back on. The slim metal guides on each side are too long for the replacement blade I want to put on tonight. The old blade insert is longer than the new one. I don't have them mixed up.
I have part number 76632-S7S-J01 for a 2001 AP1 for the driver's side (LHD)
Any advice?
