I agree that it even looks better removed with a HT but, unless you are dedicated and never remove the HT , it's better to have the tape .Besides, the tape doesn't look all that bad even with the HT.

i took mine off after a while because i wanted a different look with my HT, i actually really like it! i can see how it can easily be put back on by a vinyl pro

Definitely get some vinyl to put on. The OEM material is actually very expensive and I believe is nearly $300something. I wanted to take mine off this summer, but I didn't.
