Wilwood Caliper creaking
I bought the front wilwood brake kit for the stock wheels from Spugen last year. Recently, I've been hearing a creaking sound while applying the brakes. I don't notice it at speed, and it doesnt seem to be effecting the braking performance at all. But when i'm stopped at a red light and I push and release the pedal. The creaking is there and it is reproducible with every pedal press. I inspected the bolts and everything is still tight. Kinda sucky.
Any thoughts?

......nothing to do with the pads......
ozy,
i had the same problem, and i believe the current owner of my old car is still experiencing it.....
i believe it's the bolts that hold the safety wire/rotor together....

I assume you are using the 4 dynalite caliper?
Remmeber that this caliper uses a cotter pin to secure the pads so if it is slightly bent, the pad may make some noise from the friction between the two.
You may also have accumulated some brake dust in and around the pad and pistons. Most likely, all you need to do is remove the pads and clean the backing plate and surface of the pistons with some scotch gaurd. This will also give you a chance to inspect the pads and their wear as well
Call me if you need any assistance.
