Wilwood Brake Problem
I bought the Wilwood BBK from Team Spugen about 1.5 yrs ago in a GB. I have loved the kit, but recently noticed that I could hear brake squeal even when I was not on the pedal. I took it in to my mechanic who did the install, and he says it's the front left caliper and it has locked up. He said it wont retract so it is constantly on the rotor causing the squeal. So, I need a new caliper. I wrote Duc and Team Spugen, but I was just curious if I'm the only one? Should this be covered by WIlwood, or am I SOL. If I am SOL, can I rebuild a caliper, or should I buy a new one or a whole new kit. Thanks for reading,
Jonathan

I'd give a holler to the folks at Brake Zone to get information, they put this kit together, http://www.brakezone.com/.
I have a Wilwood kit purchased through a Spugen GB also, no issues to date and the stopping power is wicked. My brake light goes off sometimes but the brakes aren't locked, so I've just ignored it, modulating the brake pedal turns it off too.

Unfortunately, you're going to have to wait for Sherwin (Docofmind) to get out of the hospital
I just got off the phone with Brakezone and they hope he'll be back at work next week. Anything Wilwood and S2000 has to go through Sherwin.
As a side note, Sherwin is awesome but he has been in and out of the hospital lately - when he is at work the support is incredible!

Alrighty. I got in touch with Duc also. Duc and Sherwin are both great guys. I'll just have to wait. My mechanic said all that would happen is that I'll burn through that brake pad quickly, but thats it. If I were to really heat em up, I could warp my rotor, so I just wont do that. Thanks for all y'alls help!
