You can order the RSX kit which bolts straight onto the S2000, Wilwood kit number is 140-7014

And I want stockys Ariel Atom.
Are you sure about this as this is a pretty good price and using stock rims! I might just go ahead and order.

Thanks

that small kit looks like fancied up OEM caliper.

how much gain will you be seeing with these?
Oh please, only if you have no idea about calipers.

The stick caliper is single piston and slider. The Wilwood is a 4 piston monoblock design.

What we have to keep in mind is that the stock system is more than adequate for road and most people's track aspirations. Pretty hard to improve on that.

The gain is not huge obviously, but the improvements in resistance to brake fade, pedal feel, and unsprung weight reduction are all worth it when you are talking about a product of this price.

Let's not forget the Spoon caliper also only offers these slight improvements. If you want to REALLy improve your stopping power you will need bigger wheels and a six-pot caliper!

Another bonus for this kit is that it will fit under OEM wheels - 16" AP1s need no spacer and 17" AP2s need a 3mm spacer.
Same as this:
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.ph...T&f=5&t=453064

what price?

How would you use 3mm spacer ? as the 17" OEM wheel will not touch on the central hub anymore!

AND the same as this!

Stocky, this GB would mean no import tax or VAT for you!

With regards to the spacer, see the link below for more details!

Actually the RSX kit wouldn't fit the S2000 front brakes. The problem is in the Hat, it's Hub diameter is too small it's designed for the RSX which has a 64mm centerbore while the s2000 has a 70.1 centerbore up front. The hole in the hat of the RSX kit would be too small for the s2000.

I'm glad we still have people that would say "please" and "thank you" in the forums.

lol

I guess s2k brakes are pretty horrible.

I didn't know that little thing had 4 pistons. worst yet, I didn't know our stock brakes only had 1 piston up front.

I'm getting more dissappointed with this car as the days go by....

Everything I've read says that the stock brakes are pretty good. That said I want a BBK, but mainly because they look awesome. (shameless, I know)

dmw is right. The stock brakes are brilliant and exceed most drivers capabilities. They just don't meet current caliper fashion requirements.

I didn't realize most S2000 owners are happy w/ the stock brakes.
I thought it was the most disappointing part of this car.
Maybe I'm so used to the R32 brakes(which was really good).
It was one of the first-thing-to-do list.

Dan, are you talking about looks or performance?

I don't think anyone is complaining about performance.
