The stick caliper is single piston and slider. The Wilwood is a 4 piston monoblock design.
What we have to keep in mind is that the stock system is more than adequate for road and most people's track aspirations. Pretty hard to improve on that.

Let's not forget the Spoon caliper also only offers these slight improvements. If you want to REALLy improve your stopping power you will need bigger wheels and a six-pot caliper!

How would you use 3mm spacer ? as the 17" OEM wheel will not touch on the central hub anymore!

Actually the RSX kit wouldn't fit the S2000 front brakes. The problem is in the Hat, it's Hub diameter is too small it's designed for the RSX which has a 64mm centerbore while the s2000 has a 70.1 centerbore up front. The hole in the hat of the RSX kit would be too small for the s2000.

I guess s2k brakes are pretty horrible.
I didn't know that little thing had 4 pistons. worst yet, I didn't know our stock brakes only had 1 piston up front.
I'm getting more dissappointed with this car as the days go by....
(shameless, I know)

I didn't realize most S2000 owners are happy w/ the stock brakes.
I thought it was the most disappointing part of this car.
Maybe I'm so used to the R32 brakes(which was really good).
It was one of the first-thing-to-do list.
