Nice J. What gains did you see with the eManage (as opposed to just test pipe)?

The people who say the test pipe, does not get any power, and you lose power are most likely tree huggers. I will say, to everyone be warned. Bring a duster with you everywhere, you WILL have deposits on your rear bumper, especially if you have aftermarket exhaust.

It did make the car much louder...someone mentioned to me that ultimate racing sells a highflow cat that may yield the same gains without the noise? anyone have any input on this?

I disagree. It looks almost identical to every Honda cat. I've seen.

Went to a muffler shop today and had them take out the cat and put on a straight pipe. I was after the sound end of it rather than the performance end but of course I'd be happy with both.
It of course had to rain and I had the windows and top up so hearing the difference is impossible seeing I have had the top down 90% of the time since getting MY02. I spend waaaaaayyyyyyyy to much, 140$. I did not though realize a loss but thought I was feeling a slight vibration through the floor. Maybe it was my mind playing tricks on me as.
For the $$$ I spend I better get some kind of an increase in sound. Alot of you guys are posting that it makes the car ridiculously loud. One guy I think thought it brought created about 120decibals. Well I am not feeling it but I will post a follow up tomorrow.

If you have stock exhaust, the increase in volume isn't that noticeable inside the cockpit. I didn't realize that it was any louder until other S2000 owners asked what kind of exhaust I had.
