Will the old VAFC harness work with the new VAFC 2?

I've got an info thread going in the Electronics forum with pics, the correct wiring diagram, documentation, etc.
The old pigtail will NOT work. the VAFC-II has 2 connectors, the old one had a single. The VAFC-II pigtail moves the power and ground into it's own connector, the other connector has 2 additional wires in it, (TDC and VTC).
